A classmate and I are making a small (6′ x 6 x ‘6) replica of this type of dome and would like to avoid barbed wire. Are there any other options for this kind of structure? Thanks!
Barbed wire is critical to building domes with this building system. Barbed wire adds tensile strength, keeping each course from expanding outward and collapsing. I’m not aware of any substitutes.
